A Bookish Fashion Show #RomBkLove

Monday, May 3, 2021

Hello, friends!

I hope you've had a wonderful weekend. It's a shock to my system that we're actually in May already. While I'm not a fan of how quickly time is going by, May is a month I look forward to in the romance community because it's #RomBkLove season!

If you are not aware, #RomBkLove is a month-long celebration of romance books. Each day of the month features a different prompt. It's a wonderful event and in the past, it has helped me discover a whole slew of new books to add to my TBR. It's also a great opportunity to open conversation and dialogue with a great group of people in romancelandia.

This year, I wanted to host one of the prompts but wasn't sure of an interesting topic. After discussing with Ana, I settled on a bookish fashion show. One of my all-time favorite posts on the blog is this Bollywood Actresses as Romance Books post. I'm replicating the same post with new covers and focusing on South Asian (mostly Indian and Pakistani) couture.

I hope you enjoy viewing this gallery of romance books paired with fashion. As usual, images are obtained via Pinterest. Link to the board can be found here. Part of the fun of #RomBkLove is seeing others participate, so please feel free to pair your favorite romance books with an outfit of your choice and use the hashtag on Twitter so we can see your contributions. :)
