February 2021 Recap

Happy March, everyone!

How is everyone doing? I hope you are all safe, healthy, and happy. Frankly, I'm still struggling with the old mental health but I'm trying to take things one day at a time. I try not to be too hard on myself if I don't get all my tasks completed for the day, but it's hard not to feel blergh about everything. I had pretty much abandoned all my hobbies in December and January. Last month, I took the time to go back to some of the things I enjoy like baking. I made brownies from scratch and also baked a lemon blueberry and raspberry cake. Both were delicious, but sadly I didn't take any pictures.

Speaking of food, how are you all doing in the cooking department? I have to admit, I'm frustrated and annoyed anytime I have to think about making dinner. I think one of the issues is that I'm sick of eating the same thing over and over again. I have to spend some time exploring recipes but the laziness. My diet these days consists of a lot of ramen and air fried gyozas. If you have any quick dinner recipe ideas, drop them in the comments, please!

One of my goals in March is to get back into working out. Now that the weather is a bit warmer, I am hoping I will be motivated to spend some time outside of my bed when I'm not working. I think I'm going to have to start from zero with my workouts though because my muscles are now all gelatinous from all the inactivity. I also want to get back into cross-stitching, but boo, I have some kind of arthiritis that keeps flaring up every month. I should consult a doctor but again, lazy.

Anyhoo, books! My February reading was surprisingly good. I read 22 books - 5 more than January. I also read a majority of non-ARCs which made me very happy because I'm trying to cut down on ARCs significantly.

Enough chit-chat! Let's get to my reading updates!
