Books That Brought Me Joy In 2020

Monday, January 4, 2021

Hello, friends!

Happy New Year! I wish you all the happiness, success, and good health this year.

I'm excited to come back to the blog with my favorite books of the year post. I'll admit, that I find these lists exhausting because I hate choosing. I thought I'd change things up a little this year and share all the books that I brought me some joy and respite in the wretched year that was 2020. It was an incredibly lonely and grueling year for a lot of us, but I'm grateful to the books that allowed me to escape the real world for a few hours.

I have split the list into books that I aggressively loved, a.k.a books that I recommended the most, and a list of notable mentions, which are books I enjoyed a lot.
We celebrate books on this website and the more the merrier!

P.S I was going to add links to my review for each of these books, but I'm experiencing a flare of dactylitis and my hand hurts - so apologies!
