Hi, friends!
I hope you're all doing well and are being safe and healthy. The real world (read: American politics) has been a lot lately and I can tell it's affecting everybody. Everyone seems to be on edge and I don't blame anyone. I'm going to sound whiny for a bit: I'm so tired all the time even though I am doing nothing, just holed up in my apartment. I've been hoping to fly back home since borders are slowly starting to open up. Unfortunately, they are now imposing fees on the mandatory14-day quarantines (these are at luxury hotels on the island), and I simply cannot afford it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will provide some cheaper options because I'm really homesick. ðŸ˜
The rest of my time besides school has been taken up by Love Island. Amber got me invested in this damn show and I stayed up until late at night just to catch the daily episodes and then reading Reddit for theories. It was fun and my favorite couple won, but I'm glad to be back to sleeping at an appropriate hour of the night.
As a result, my reading did suffer a little bit. I didn't read as much as the previous months, but I read and re-read some amazing books!
Let's get to my reading updates!
