Though this third installment in the Bromance Book Club series has a more serious and somber tone to it, it was still a story I had a great time with. Lyssa Kay Adams has easily become one of my favorite romance writers with her humorous voice and swoon-worthy romances. Crazy Stupid Bromance featured a lovely friends-to-lovers romance that I recommend to fans of the series and lovers of the trope.

Rilzy Adams has been a very fun author discovery for me - thank you, Twitter. I love how I can spend a few solid hours with her stories thoroughly entertained and satisfied. Birthday Shot was especially a must-read for me since I'm a big fan of the older brother's best friend trope when done well. Yet again, the author delivered with a solid story that had me swooning and fanning myself.

It's official. Cara Bastone is one of my favorite 2020 romance debuts. There's something wickedly special about her voice and I'm hooked. Call Me Maybe, an Audible Original title, was one of the most entertaining and charming audiobooks I've had the chance to listen to. I was sporting a very silly grin while I was listening to it and I can't wait for all of you to pick it up and relish this sweet story.

Love Island Book Tag

Tuesday, October 13, 2020

Happy Tuesday, bookworms!

Jen showed me this Love Island tag created by Paige at Minimal Bookie. I'm a huge Love Island fan - I've seen all the UK seasons, the Australian seasons, and I watched the latest US season live. I have way too much fun watching the show and devouring all the drama that always happens on these kinds of dating scenarios. They are way too entertaining! Obviously, as a fan of the show, I had to do this fun tag. Be sure to also watch Paige's video.

I'm not the most experienced adult epic fantasy reader but when Amber at Du Livre couldn't stop raving about Black Sun, curiosity got the best of me. I don't know what it was about Black Sun, but this is the first fantasy book I've read in a very long time that has held my attention all the way through. It's a remarkable character-driven fantasy series opener that's undeniably going to evolve into an epic trilogy.

There's a reason why Olivia Dade is one of my favorite authors. She writes nuanced stories with some of the best fat representation in romance. With her Avon debut, she takes her writing to another dimension. Spoiler Alert had me on an emotional rollercoaster but more importantly, it left me with the happiest feelings in my heart.

Nick & Katie's {Infinite} Playlist: Pairing 13 Romance Books With Songs

Monday, October 5, 2020

Hiya, this is Katie, a friend of Nick's!

Nick recruited me to help out with this particular blog post in which I match songs to books she's recommended to me over the years. Does anyone else get this problem, where they read an amazing book and afterward they can't help try to find songs that fit the book/couple, even if it means taking on a, ah shall we say, creative interpretation of the lyrics? Because it's basically a permanent side effect of reading for me at this point. I just get so excited and proud when I find the perfect song that can relate to the books I read! So without further ado, here's the list I compiled so far. There's bound to be a lot of songs I left off, so I would love to hear what are some of your favorite songs to listen to for romance books!

12 Books From Kindle Unlimited On My TBR

Thursday, October 1, 2020

Hi guys!

Today I'm sharing a list of 12 books that I found on Kindle Unlimited that I'm excited to read. Ari gifted me a KU subscription last year and I can honestly say it was a really good present. I've discovered a ton of great books and new authors, especially Black authors. If you're a romance reader, then I definitely recommend getting a subscription. There's currently a sale going where you can get up to 40% off of a subscription if you're interested. P.S this is not an ad!

I hope you guys find some new books to add to your TBRs! Be sure to drop your recommendations if you have any too! 😀
