My latest Twitter Made Me Read It book is Go Deep by Rilzy Adams. I picked it up after reading Jazmen's raving review for it. Man, this book was HOT, but also I have a beef now with Jazmen because she certainly did not give me any instructions on how to find myself a man like Xander ... EXTREMELY RUDE, if you ask me!

When Navaya, an erotic romance writer, suffers from writer's block, she asks her life-long best friend to help stimulate her and her writing mind with his bedroom moves. Xander is at first hesitant to give in to her demands because he doesn't want to change their dynamic. He eventually agrees, boy let me you, how these two didn't get horizontal years ago in the first place was confusing to me. Navi and Xander had smoking hot chemistry together. That romantic tension definitely translated into the sexy times. If you've read some of the reviews for this book then you know that Go Deep had some of the fieriest sex scenes and they were all such a treat to read. I've definitely been missing out on the good stuff by not picking up Rilzy Adams' books sooner.

I also really enjoyed the characters in this book. Navaya especially was a hoot. She was so fun and positive and I loved being inside her head. Xander was a total sweetheart too. I loved how much his care for Navi came through the book. Please, these authors have got to stop writing these perfect men. I don't need the reminder that I'm going to be single for the rest of my life because of my expectations. Anyways, if you love best-friends to lovers, then this book will work in every way for you. Even though Go Deep was just a novella, I thought it was an extremely well fleshed-out novella. I felt like I really got to know the characters and got to see the subtle progression in their romance.

I don't have anything else to add other than, read this book, friends! It's all sorts of steamy goodness and that's really all of us romance fans deserve.
