Happy Wednesday, everyone!

I hope you're having a good week. I had my proposal defense this week so I'm exhausted and ready for the week to be over with so I can start my vacation next week. I'm excited to start a few new cross-stitch projects and read some books!

Let's get to my W.W.W post!

The Would You Rather Tag

Tuesday, August 25, 2020

Happy Tuesday, bookworms!

I'm doing a fun tag on the blog today. I saw Vera and Sabrina at Wordy and Whimsical do the Would You Rather tag and it sounded like a like lot of fun. I thought the questions would be more torturous but I found it was easy to answer most of them. 😊

Only When It's Us & Always Only You by Chloe Liese

Happy Monday, beautiful readers!

It's a dual review kind of day today and I'm so excited about these books. I loved loved the first two books in Chloe Liese's Bergman Brothers series and could not wait to share my love for these books with you.

Chloe Liese was also gracious enough to stop by and answer a few questions for me. I love her answers and it will give you insight into her writing. I hope you enjoy the post!

The vast amount of praise this little book had received piqued my interest so I went straight to Amazon to pick up my copy. Only When It's Us was a darling little story which turned to be a pleasant surprise. It's only my first book from Chloe Liese, but she already has a fan in me.

I hope you're all doing well!

The weather has been cooler here and I've been living for it. My productivity rates, however, are at an all-time low. I'm happy to be reading though and I have so many good books waiting for me!

MY CHEST. IT ACHES. I've been waiting for Emery and Jack's book since we met Emery in The One Real Thing back in 2016. One of my favorite books of all time, Lisa Kleypas' Devil in Winter has the pairing of an anti-hero and a shy heroine, which is why I think I was dying for this book. Four years later, Samantha Young gave us Emery and Jack's love story and I pretty much devoured it.

OMG, this series!! It owns my entire desi heart and has to be one of my favorite adult romance series. I love that these books portray South Asian characters as sexy and bold, but also highlights a range of family dynamics. After loving the first book, The Takeover Effect, I've been dying to read The Legal Affair. Nisha Sharma delivers on a delectable and swoony romance helmed by a boss babe of a heroine. Romance readers are going to devour this story!

Happy Wednesday, bookworms!

I hope you're all doing well! I've seen Tanya at Girl Plus Books do the W.W.W Wednesdays and I thought it would be a fun and succinct way to recap my books of the week. I changed one of the prompts to fit my own interests.

Top Ten Tuesday (24): Books I Read & Loved In 2020 That I Haven't Reviewed

Tuesday, August 11, 2020

Happy Tuesday, bookworms!

Today's Top Ten Tuesday is "Books I Loved But Never Reviewed". I wish I could review every book that I read but I don't have the time anymore. :( But I love this prompt because it gives me an opportunity to talk about the books I haven't had a chance to share with everyone yet. So, here is a list of 10 books I read this year that I loved but didn't review.

You Had Me At Hola has one of the most striking romance covers I've ever laid eyes on. It's stunning unique, and also romantic. I don't normally enjoy reading books about celebrities, but I had to make an exception for You Had Me At Hola. How could I resist not picking it up?

My latest Twitter Made Me Read It book is Go Deep by Rilzy Adams. I picked it up after reading Jazmen's raving review for it. Man, this book was HOT, but also I have a beef now with Jazmen because she certainly did not give me any instructions on how to find myself a man like Xander ... EXTREMELY RUDE, if you ask me!

Paradise Cove by Jenny Holiday & You Lucky Dog by Julia London

Thursday, August 6, 2020

Hi, friends!

Posting a double review today because I'm behind on reviews. First up, I share my thoughts on Paradise Cove, the second book in the Matchmaker Bay series. Next, I review You Lucky Dog, a super cute book with a dog swapping meet-cute.

Let's get to the reviews!

How does one even review the 5th book of a series without coming across as repetitive? Emerald Blaze is an Ilona Andrews book - will that do for a review? No? Blergh! The Hidden Legacy series is at the top of my all-time favorites list. It's one of those series that I will drop everything and anything for if I am able to snag an early copy and that's exactly what I did when Emerald Blaze landed on my Kindle. As always, Ilona Andrews delivered with a wildly entertaining and ridiculously humorous installment. I'm obsessed.
