Tuesday, July 14, 2020

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

I hope you're doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday prompt is "Books That Made You Smile". I am focusing on the last few books I read that made me smile or laugh. I've had a few of those lately and I think we all could do with happy books with the state of the world.

Boyfriend Material By the Book Crazy Stupid Bromance (Bromance Book Club, #3)

Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall
OMG. THIS BOOK. If you follow me on Twitter, you've seen how much I enjoyed this book. This book had me grinning like a complete fool. It was so so cute and hilarious too!

By the Book by Amanda Sellet
By the Book is one of those cutest books I have ever read. It has a bookish heroine, great female friendships, and the most ship-worthy romance!

Crazy Stupid Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams
If you've read this series, then you know that the guys in the Bromance Book Club are the funniest. The book overall did have a somber tone because of Alexis' past, but the boys just brought all the humor.

Only When It's Us (Bergman Brothers, #1) Take a Hint, Dani Brown (The Brown Sisters, #2) Well Played (Well Met, #2)

Only When It's Us by Chloe Liese
This book caught me by surprise because I hadn't heard of until I came across it on Pinterest. I had so much fun reading it. It had a frenemies-to-lovers romance that was so well-done. Fair warning, this book definitely had some sadder moments too.

Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert
I'm going to sound repetitive in this post, but oh my gosh! This book was the cutest book! The romance was really lovely and gave me such warm feelings. I definitely could not stop smiling.

Well Played by Jen DeLuca
Well Played was another lovely book I recently read. I loved Stacey and her beau's story so much and the cute text exchanges had me grinning!

40-Love (There's Something About Marysburg, #2) Finding Joy Silver Silence (Psy-Changeling Trinity, #1; Psy-Changeling, #16)

40-Love by Olivia Dade
Gahh! Every time I look at this cover it just makes me smile so hard! Lucas and Tess had such great banter - the kind of banter that had me smiling non-stop!

Finding Joy by Adriana Herrera
In my review of Finding Joy, I said that this book gave me a good dose of serotonin. I mean just look at this cover! Yes, the book tackles some tough topics, but for the most part, it remained such a joyous experience.

Silver Silence by Nalini Singh
Nalini Singh's books always make me laugh and grin like a dork. In particular, Silver Silence had some super funny and adorable scenes that involved baby shifter bears and their mischief. Too cute!

The Roommate

The Roommate by Rosie Danan
The last book I'm featuring is The Roommate. Josh and his energy will definitely have readers smiling and his chemistry with Clara is to die for!
