I'm terribly behind on reviewing these books, but better late than never. I think pretty much everyone knows that I'm not a fan of musicians/celebrities/famous people in books. I do love Ainslie Paton though, so I had to read this series. Phew, these books were so hot! One Kiss From The King of Rock was all about the kissing and let me tell you, it was hot. The way Ainslie Paton wrote these scenes were a work of art. Low-key, I was feeling very hot and flustered!

Anyways, so what's the story all about? It's a second chance romance between Evie and Jay. They broke up 10 years ago in what one would call an ugly breakup. 10 years later though, the love they share for each other is still blazing strong. Obviously, these two had resentment and frustration towards each other for the way their relationship ended, but they can't deny that their chemistry is still smoking hot. So, they come up with a sex pact with one condition - no lip-smacking will be involved. Both of these characters were so charming and likable. And their emotional and physical connection was undeniable. I tell you, my Kindle nearly set on fire because of how hot they were together. It was smoking and delicious and I could not get enough. I love how Ainslie's books are always super sensual and sexy, but also very emotional. I loved Evie and Jay and how their second chance at love evolved throughout the book.

If you're in the mood for something short, super sexy, and satisfying, I highly recommend these books! Honestly, though, you need to read One Kiss From the King of Rock just for the smoke show of kissing scenes!

Another installment of this quickie series that I basically read in a single sitting. Again, One Wicked Lick From The Drummer was fun, sexy, and so swoony! Only Ainslie Paton could have gotten me to swoon over a fictional musician.

This book tells the story of Mena, who was a groupie growing up. At the top of her list of musicians to do was Grip. She promised herself that once she got to sleep with him, she would change her lifestyle. Well, that happens and years later, she's built a life and career for herself in the finance industry. She is up for a partner position at her firm when she is assigned a new client, who happens to be Grip. Grip doesn't recognize Mena, but he feels the sparks between them. As they are forced to work together to get Grip's finances in place, the chemistry between them only grows. This leads them into a sexual affair. Only Mena is still hiding the fact that they had already slept together back in the day. Normally, I don't like the hiding-a-secret trope all that much. There's too much room for miscommunication, but I thought it was handled well here. It's probably because this book is on the shorter end and Mena is very regretful when Grip finally figures it out. As you can imagine, there's some serious angst in this book, but it's the good kind of angst.

One other thing I really enjoyed about One Wicked Lick From the Drummer was the epilogue that featured all three couples from the series. It was so adorable, it gave me all the happy feels. Anyways, read these books, you won't regret it! P.S these are available on Kindle Unlimited!
