Top Ten Tuesday (18): Books On My To-Read Shelf I Desperately Need To Read

Tuesday, June 9, 2020

Happy Tuesday, friends!

I hope you are all doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday prompt asks us to share books we've added to our TBRs that we've completely forgotten about. I tend to clean up my to-read Goodreads shelves pretty regularly. Currently, I'm down to about 65, which is more manageable to me than when it was in the 1000s. Still, there are some books that I had forgotten that I was excited about, so I'll share a select few in today's post.

Courting Darkness (Courting Darkness Duology, #1) Windwitch (The Witchlands, #2) Daughter of the Siren Queen (Daughter of the Pirate King, #2)

Courting Darkness by Robin LaFevers
I loved loved the Grave Mercy books and I was super excited to hear the author was releasing a spin-off. I even got an ARC, but I have yet to read it!

Windwitch by Susan Dennard
Another sequel for a book I really loved. I'm thinking of waiting for the whole series to be out.

Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller
I really enjoyed the first book about a lady pirate and was eager for the sequel. But here I am still not having read it.

The Map from Here to There (The Start of Me and You, #2) White Night The Only Thing Worse Than Me Is You

The Map from Here to There by Emery Lord
I'm a big Emery Lord fan and this one is a sequel to her debut I think? I have a copy so I just need to move my butt in gear and read it.

White Night by Ellie Marney
Ellie Marney is one of my favorite authors. She writes some of the best OTPs. This one sounds different from her usual books but so good!

The Only Thing Worse Than Me Is You by Lily Anderson
I've heard this book is full of tropey goodness. I need to read it ASAP!

The Last Namsara (Iskari, #1) Would Like to Meet Wicked Fox (Gumiho, #1)

The Last Namasara by Kristen Ciccarelli
Amber-Elise at Du Livre speaks highly of this series. I've been in the mood for YA fantasy so I should try it!

Would Like to Meet by Rachel Winters
Another ARC I've had for what feels like forever. It sounds super cute.

Wicked Fox by Kat Cho
I think it was Sue who brought this to my attention? I think this is a book I would really enjoy.

The Midnight Lie (The Midnight Lie, #1)

The Midnight Lie by Marie Rutkoski
I forgot that this came out already. TWC series is one of my all-time favorites, so I need to read this one!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

Have you read any of these books? Anything I should prioritize?
