May 2020 Recap & June TBR

Monday, June 1, 2020

Hello all,

I hope you're all coping with everything going on. Before I get to my recap, I wanted to take a second to express how saddened and angry I am by George Floyd's brutal murder last week by a cop and to stand with everyone in the Black community. I hope everyone is listening closely to what our friends in the Black community are vocalizing. They deserve to be heard. They deserve to be treated with respect. They deserve to not have to worry about being murdered by the very people who are supposed to protect them. If you have the financial ability, here is a helpful thread of bail funds across the country that you can donate to.

Additionally, here is a link to petitions you can sign as well as other resources.

May was a good reading month for me. As far as numbers go, so far this year it has been the most successful month. I read some excellent books! I finished on the first arc of the Psy-Changeling series and it's been such a wonderful experience. I look forward to reading the next arc soon.
