One of my favorite pastimes is watching travel vloggers on YouTube. My personal favorites are Flying the Nest, Kara & Nate, The Endless Adventure, and The Budgeteers, if anyone is interested in quality travel content. I've always had a travel bucket list, but watching their videos has me wanting to visit some new spots. Here's my list!
Vietnam
Alright, is it bad that I want to visit Vietnam for all of the delicious food? I mean just watch this video and you'll see what I mean. But I also would love to do something like this luxury cruise that Kara & Nate in their Halong Bay cruise video! Looks stunning!
Japan
I became interested in Japan after watching Jess and Steve's series of them traveling through Japan. I highly recommend watching their Japan series, btw. It's what got me to subscribe to their channel. :) Anyways, Japan seems like one of those countries where there's something for everyone. It seems to have the perfect blend of history, culture, and technology. I particularly want to go to some of the Japanese villages that Jess and Steve traveled too because they honestly seem so majestic.
Turkey
Another location inspired by Flying the Nest, Kara & Nate, and Endless Adventure! I don't think I knew much about Turkey before I watched this series and oh man, I so badly want to go. It sounds like a country that is so rich in culture and beautiful architecture. I think I would love visiting Turkey.
Romania
Everest Base Camp, Nepal
Kara & Nate's trek to Everest Base Camp is one of my favorite Youtube series EVER. I've re-watched it a few times and every time, I'm just in awe. It's not just the gorgeous sceneries, but it's the people they meet along the way and the increasing strength they acquire as they do the treck. I don't know that I will ever do this trek myself. It seems very physically draining and would take a ton of mental courage on my part, but you never know, right? It seems like one of those things you would never forget if you do end up doing it.
Bonus: Sri Lanka
I've actually been to Sri Lanka many times because both of my parents are originally from there and my extended family all lives there. However, I've never experience the country as The Budgeteers did, in a tuk-tuk. They also got the chance to visit much of Northern Sri Lanka, which I've never been able to do because of the previous civil war in the country making it unsafe to visit those areas. It seems like a completely different experience than the country's capital and I'd like to go see it for myself. I don't think this one is impossible for me unlike the Everest Base Camp goal! :)
