YES! Another soft and sweet and pure book from one of my favorite authors, Talia Hibbert. I'm thrilled that with Get a Life, Chloe Brown, she has the chance to share her undeniable talent with a wider audience. If you're new to her writing, this is the perfect book for you all.

Talia always writes relatable and wholesome characters. Chloe Brown is no different. This tiny ball of anxious energy was simply pure joy and I dare you to not fall for her character. It's impossible, I tell you! Chloe struggles on a daily basis with chronic pain. She hurts and struggles, but even though her life has been painful, she remains a lovely and joyful character. I have to admit to not having read a book before with a character with chronic illnesses, but they were brilliantly depicted here, and I learned a lot. Of course, Chloe is also incredibly witty and grumpy and snarky, characteristics that somehow make her all the more likeable. Chloe had me smiling and laughing and crying with her. That right there is proof of Talia's talent at writing characters that you want as your best friend. Chloe's chronic illnesses have led to her living a sheltered life, but a near-death experience leaves her wanting to take life by the reigns. Enter Chloe's "Get a Life" list!

Somehow, her sexy neighbor, Red finds himself entangled with this list. Can I just scream at the top of my lungs about how much I love Red? He is this softest, most delightful character I have ever read and I just want to keep him in my pocket. Red has also been hurt in the past, but somehow, he has managed to not let his past experiences affected who he is as a person. He is so thoughtful, patient, and has the biggest heart. Can I just say how I appreciated what a gentleman Red was? Oh, and how he would apologize when he was at fault? SWOON! I love a good considerate love interest!

As you can imagine, the romance was pure romantic goodness. It's one that will have your toes curling, sighing in happiness, and daydreaming about love. These two were adorable from the very first, and I love how Talia is able to balance the cute and the sexy so brilliantly. I love their openness and comfort level with each other. I just pretty much love everything about this book and this romance. I also really appreciated Chloe's sisters, who were equally delightful. They were so quirky and funny and truly, the most supportive sisters, just the kind Chloe deserved in her life. I can't wait to see them get their HEAs! :)

If you can only read one more book this year, make it Get a Life, Chloe Brown. I promise you're not going to find anything better than it.
