Top Ten Tuesday (8) : Book Best Friends

Happy Tuesday, friends!

Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Book Characters I'd Like To Be Best Friends With. I thought it's a fun topic as I'm always wishing that book characters are real!

It was hard to narrow down the list to just 10, but here we go!

Burn for Me (Hidden Legacy, #1) Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles, #2)

Nevada - The Hidden Legacy Series by Ilona Andrews
I've been screaming about how good this series is for a while now and it's all because of the amazing cast. I love Nevada - she's one of my all-time favorite heroines. She's smart, badass, and has got great skills. Oh, and absolutely funny as hell. I would love to have her as a best friend because I could be around her family, have her protection, and also swoon over Mad Rogan from afar!

Kate - Kate Daniels Series by Ilona Andrews
Yes, I've got another Ilona Andrews' heroine on the list. Kate is equally badass as Nevada, and she is incredibly loyal to the people around her. I think she'd make a great friend! Plus, it would be fun to make fun of Curran with her without the fear of being eaten by him!

Scarlet - The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
Out of all the characters in The Lunar Chronicles, Scarlet is my favorite. I think I would get along very well with her. She has got this quiet intensity to her that I love. I would also value her strong will and her bravery. She'd be a great friend to have!

The Anatomical Shape of a Heart Saving Francesca There's Something About Sweetie (Dimple and Rishi, #2)

Bex - The Anatomical Shape of a Heart by Jenn Bennett
I love Jenn Bennett's heroines so I knew I had to include one in this list. I'm choosing Bex because I think her quirky, artistic side would suit my personality. I'm not artsy by any means, but I love science so we would have lots of interesting things to chat about because of her interest in medical art!

Francesca - Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta
Oh, Frankie! This was a girl who needed a friend in the beginning of the book and I would have totally have loved to have been that support for her. She does eventually find an A+ group, but you know, I wouldn't have minded being in the group because they were so much fun together. They had all the characteristics of good friends!

Sweetie - There's Something About Sweetie by Sandhya Menon
Teen (and adult!) Nick would have loved Sweetie as a best friend. I think we would bond over being fat brown girls dealing with all the insecurities and judgements that come from your close friends and families. I think her optimism and confidence would have come in handy in my life!

When We Left Cuba That Kind of Guy (Ravenswood, #3) 46299387. sy475

Beatriz - When We Left Cuba by Chanel Cleeton
Beatriz is one of the most interesting characters that I have ever read about. I think being her friend would be great as she would have so many stories to tell. Her passion would also be a really good influence in my life.

Zach - That Kind of Guy by Talia Hibbert
I related to Zach so much in That Kind of Guy. He's not a man of many words, but I think he and I would make for good buds exactly because of that. I like my space a lot too, so he would understand when I wouldn't want to hang out. AND I could kick his butt into gear to go after Rae sooner! I'd be a great wingman! :)

The Wallflower Girls - The Wallflowers Series by Lisa Kleypas
I couldn't choose just one of the Wallflowers because they are just so much more incredible as a group! These ladies are loyal, funny, and simply great supportive friends. I'd love to be included in this fun little group.

The Kiss Quotient (The Kiss Quotient, #1)

Stella - The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
Stella and I would get along so well! We both share a love for numbers and data - we would probably blabber on about the topic for a good while! And we're both a bit awkward and shy in real life, so we would bond over that.
