The Weekly Recap (45): Recovering From A Busy Weekend

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all doing well and your weeks were splendid! My week started lasted weekend when Ari came over for a visit. We did a lot of sightseeing - we went to this old historic prison with super creepy vibes - and we ate a ton of food - local donuts, sushi, brunch, dim sum! By the end of the trip, Ari had to be rolled down to NYC because we were in a food coma! We did walk off most of the calories off, however, since my phone app showed that we had walked 20 miles! My legs definitely felt like jello the day after she left. Thankfully, classes are over, so I didn't have to go to school the next day. I slept like a log on Sunday night. The rest of my week was spent studying or working, so nothing too exciting.

Here are my reading updates for the week:
Week In Reading

Fix Her Up Falling for a Rake

It was a slow reading week, but I read some good books, so I can't complain. I couldn't wait to read Don't Give Me Butterflies after enjoying the first two books in the series. It was just as delightful as the rest of the series. The heroine was too sweet for words. I then picked up Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey even though I had vowed to never pick up her books again, and I enjoyed it, even though I still think her sex scenes are off. I finished off the week by reading a new-to-me historical romance author, Eve Pendle, and wow! Falling For A Rake was just what I needed and I don't know why I hadn't picked up anything from her before!
