The Weekly Recap (33): A Week of Procrastination & Free Food

Sunday, March 17, 2019

Hi guys!

I have to admit. I'm struggling with how much I have to do. This whole week I've been in such an off-mood. I haven't felt like doing anything, and this happened during the worst week possible, given that it's finals next week. So, I spent most of my week procrastinating. It also doesn't help that there was an odd mood at school also. There was so much going on and I felt like everyone was a little bit hyper. There was a ton of free food though, so I'm not complaining! We had a pie/pizza party for pi-day, and there was a send-off party for some of the graduating students.

The next few weeks aren't going to be any calmer, unfortunately. I do have some exciting events on the horizon. I'm going to my first stats conference next week. I'm presenting a poster at the conference. I'm a little nervous, but I hope it goes smoothly. Then, after spring break, I'm going to a research meeting at the University of Alabama with my research team. It should be very interesting since I'll get to meet the people in the network I work with.

Let's get to my reading updates!
Week In Reading

American Dreamer (Dreamers #1) Bridal Boot Camp Love in the Afternoon (The Hathaways, #5) Act Like It (London Celebrities, #1)

I read American Dreamer which was a great read. I also buddy-read Bridal Boot Camp with my friend, Jasprit. We were both super surprised at how short it was! I finished off the week by re-reading two of my all-time favorite books.
