The Weekly Recap (16) : Feeling A Little Blue

Saturday, September 8, 2018

Hi everyone!

How are you all doing? I hope you all had good weeks with some good reads in between. I was honestly feeling a bit down this week for some reason. I was just sad and grumpy the whole time and the rainy weather didn't help. Last weekend, my mom woke me up at 5 am to go to this temple that's about 2 and a half hours away from my house and that she loves going too. I wasn't happy about having to wake up early in the morning, but I went because I knew it would make her happy. The temple was really lovely. It was by an estuary in a nature reserve and the views were just stunning. My mom then treated me to Nutella-filled beignets for waking up so early - haha!

Do any of you use Google Chrome as your browser? Well, they had a new update to it and the font is all fuzzy and blurry and it's driving me bonkers that I can't figure out how to fix it. If any of you had issues with it and know how to fix or go back to the older Chrome, please let me know!

Despite the blues this week, I did have a productive reading and blogging week, so let's get to my bookish updates!
Week In Reading
A Conspiracy in Belgravia (Lady Sherlock, #2) A Girl Like Her (Ravenswood, #1) The Hollow of Fear (Lady Sherlock, #3) All the Little Bones (Circus Hearts, #1)  The Guardian (Immortal Dealers, #2)

It was a pretty brilliant reading week for me. I enjoyed all of these books. I devoured both A Conspiracy in Belgravia and The Hollow of Fear. Seriously, these books are SO SO good. I can't believe I'm going to have to wait a year for the next book! I read the first book-club read, A Girl Like Her, and it was quite enjoyable though I initially struggled a teensy bit with the writing. I also picked up All The Little Bones by one of my favorite authors and it was a great swoony read. After loving One Night Wife, I couldn't wait to read Fool Me Forever and I just loved every word of it! Ainslie Paton continues to impress. Finally, I picked up The Guardian and this series is just so much fun.
