20 Upcoming Books For The Romantic In Your Life

Tuesday, July 31, 2018

Hi guys!

Welcome to another edition of "Nick destroys your TBRs yet again"! I know you all love these posts and they are some of my favorite posts to torture you all with write. These are all romance books that will be out later this year or early 2019. We can never have too many romance books, no? Let's get started!

The Chase (Briar U, #1) The Takeover Effect Stripped (Happy Endings, #1)

The Chase by Elle Kennedy
This one might not be new to most of you. Pretty much everyone in romance-landia is excited for The Chase. Elle Kennedy's Off-Campus series really got me invested in sports romance. Fitzy was one of my favorite secondary characters in that series so I'm beyond excited to get to his story! Not too long before this one is out!

The Takeover Effect by Nisha Sharma
BLESS Avon for giving me romance books about brown people. I seriously can't wait for this one. We don't have a blurb yet for The Takeover Effect, but the series is centered around a Sikh-Punjabi group of brothers finding love and taking revenge. Out January 2019!

Stripped by Zoey Castille
Helllooooo, beautiful cover model!
Anyways, now that I'm done drooling ... This book sounds like a whole lot of fun. The hero is a stripper and the heroine is a schoolteacher. I'm so excited to see how that dynamic plays out. It's gonna be steamy!

Nightchaser (Endeavor, #1) 99 Percent Mine The Proposal

I enjoyed Bouchet's debut series, and I'm excited to see what she does with more of a science-fiction setting. It sounds like it's gonna be a really cool book. Another 2019 book though!

I have to admit. I didn't love The Hating Game the second time I read it. I realized it was quite problematic. But this cover and synopsis sound so cute. Therefore, I can't resist. Story of my life ...

The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory
CARLOS!!I adored The Wedding Date and I loved Carlos in the first book. I can't wait to read this book. I hope it's as cute as The Wedding Date!

Couldn't Ask for More (Brothers of Theta Delta Theta #2) The Matchmaker's List Josh and Hazel's Guide to Not Dating

I haven't read this author or series before, but this cover is gorgeous. The book sounds really good. There's a fake relationship here, so you know I'm all for it. :)

The Matchmaker's List by Sonya Lalli
You guys. This sounds so wonderful. It's another book about a brown girl (Indian immigrant) falling in love and a meddling grandmother and ugh, I'm here for it. This cover is so lovely too!

I've been enjoying Christina Lauren's past few books. They've really found their style. I'm excited to meet Josh & Hazel. It's going to be a sweet read!

The Bride Test Don't Touch My Petunia (The Holloway Girls, #2) The One You Fight For (The Ones Who Got Away, #3)

Sooo.... who do I sell my soul to read The Bride Test early?
I loved loved loved Helen's debut and in the few glimpses we saw of Khai, the hero of The Bride Test, I knew he would make for another unique main character. Khai has autism and the heroine, Esme, is from Vietnam. This is going to be amazing and romantic. I can't wait!

I adored the first book, Don't Call Me Cupcake. I am very very excited to read this book. If it's going to be anything like the first book, I have a sweet, swoony and romantic book waiting for me!

I love love love this series. It's seriously so good. I'm excited for Taryn's book. It looks like it's going to be another emotional read.

Fumbled (Playbook, #2)  Three Little Words (Bridesmaids Behaving Badly #3)

I liked Intercepted by Alexa Martin, so I'm excited she's writing more books in this universe!

Best of Luck by Kate Clayborn
Kate Clayborn is my favorite author find of the year. I looooved looooved looooved the second book in this series, Luck of the Draw, and have already re-read it. Best of Luck will feature a best friend's older brother trope and I can't wait. Also, how cute is this cover model?

Three Little Words by Jenny Holiday
I have been enjoying this series a lot. It's a very cute rom-com series, and eep, this book is about a model! Look at how cute that cover is too! It's going to be fun!

Devil's Daughter (The Ravenels, #5) Lady Derring Takes a Lover (The Palace of Rogues, #1) The Fearless King (The Kings, #2)

Devil's Daughter by Lisa Kleypas
If you've known me for a while, then you know I'm a huge fan of Lisa Kleypas' books, especially her historical romances. I'm really pumped for Devil's Daughter because it features the one character whose book I've been waiting for since the beginning of The Ravenels series. WEST. This is also going to be an interesting read because in this book Phoebe, the heroine, is a single widowed mother and she is the daughter of one of my FAVORITE couples from LK ever!

Lady Derring Takes a Lover by Julie Anne Long
I am sucker for a military hero in romance novels, especially battle-hardened ones. The hero in this one is a naval Captain and he and the heroine want nothing to do with love. You know exactly what that means right? ;)

The Fearless King by Katee Robert
FRANK'S BOOK! Frank was so intriguing in the previous book and I already love Journey, so I'm excited to see the two of them explode with their chemistry in The Fearless King. Katee Robert has shared some teasers in her FB group, and let me tell you, you're going to need an ice cold drink when you read this one!

The Way You Love Me When We Left Cuba

The Way You Love Me by Miranda Liasson
Oh, this sounds like such a sweet read! It has the single dad trope (MY FAVE) and a heroine who wants to be a writer and takes a writing course from said sexy single dad. It sounds right up my alley!

When We Left Cuba by Chanel Cleeton
Next Year in Havana is one of my favorite books this year. It was lush with history and deeply romantic. I loved Beatriz in that one, so I'm more than thrilled that we are getting her story. My body is totally ready for When We Left Cuba. It's probably going to wreck me and I can't wait!

Are you looking forward to any of these romance books? What are some others not mentioned in this post that you're looking forward to?
