5 Beautiful Libraries On My Travel Bucket List

Tuesday, April 17, 2018

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

I don't have a review to post today, so I'm stealing one of Rashika's post ideas (with permission, of course!). There are loads of gorgeous libraries everywhere around the world that I would like to see, but here are my top 5.

Wiblingen Monastery Grand Library - Germany

Look at how stunning this library looks. The beautiful floors and columns make this such an airy and spacious looking library. This library is also part of a monastery as you can tell from its name.

Trinity College Library - Ireland

Now, this is what I imagined every college library would be like. Sadly, they are nothing close to the masterpiece that is the Trinity College library. It's one of the largest libraries in the world and has a collection of over 6 million books!

Bibliotheca Alexandria - Egypt

This library has a sunlight reading room and has one of the coolest looking building ever - it looks like a sundial. The walls also have hieroglyphs! It's also considered to be a reincarnation of the ancient library of Alexandria, which burned down in the 3rd century. It's also a library with a lot of historical religious significance.

Soneva Kiri Children's Library - Thailand

It's a children's library that looks like a treehouse! How cool does this look?

Stuttgart Public Library - Germany

Look at how stunning this library is! I love all the white because it's so calming. I could live here. Germany is totally kicking butt with the gorgeous libraries!

Don't these all look gorgeous? What are some libraries you want to visit?
